Discovered by Trax magazine in 2008 with the track "Smoke That", Parisian duo Le Marchand de Sable achieved to create a unique and recognizable universe in the French electronic scene. After a first EP released in 2010 on UnderCover and a tour in France, Arnaud and Hugo come back in 2012 with "Acid Lake". Probably the release of the maturity for the guys who always chose quality over quantity.
Both original pieces of the release, "Acid Lake" and "PPP", demonstrate once again their musical skills, blending mesmerizing melodies with a powerful and progressive techno. These tracks are made for getting bigger during a live by Le Marchand de Sable or in the mix of DJs who don’t want to choose between techno from Berlin or Paris.
English duo Night Symmetry (Bad Life) joins us and signs here a deep and mindblowing acid techno remix, followed by French producer John Lord Fonda (Citizen) who delivers a surprising old-school edit of "Acid Lake". This EP ends with a big room techno version of "Acid Lake" by the American duo Von Don (well known for their side-projects LBCK or La Zebra) and with an impressive and melancholic remix by French producer Nicolas Chenard.
